A three-topped mountain 628 m above sea level in the Czarne Mountains, with telecommunications masts and Szeroka Skała, among mountain meadows.
Szerzawa is a summit 628 metres above sea level in the Czarne Mountains, part of the Central Sudetes, within the Wałbrzych Sudetes Landscape Park, above the village of Niedźwiedzica in Wałbrzych County.
The mountain is formed of three tops arranged from south-east to north-west, each crowned by a telecommunications mast. The slopes are gentle and clearly outlined, built of lower Carboniferous gneiss conglomerates and migmatites of the Owl Mountains block, covered at the surface by deposits from the ice age.
On the southern slope rises a characteristic rock formation called Szeroka Skała, from which the summit also takes its second name. Most of the area, including the top itself, is covered by extensive mountain meadows, pastures and waste ground, so from a distance Szerzawa looks more like an open upland pasture than a wooded ridge.
No marked trail runs over the top itself, but the yellow trail runs along its southern slope and can be used to approach from the settlement of Podlesie.
From the north, the blue European E3 trail passes through the Przełęcz Niedźwiedzia pass.
A few kilometres to the south-east stands Grodno Castle.
Closer, towards Jedlina-Zdrój, is Jedlinka Palace.
