Under the Angel Gallery

The Under the Angel Gallery is a studio and shop selling hand-shaped ceramics in Dobków, on the border of the Kaczawa Foothills and the Kaczawa Mountains.

Hand-shaped ceramics

The family-run studio has operated in Dobków since 2001. All the pieces are made by hand, without moulds, a potter's wheel or slip casting, and the main decorative motif is angels.

What the studio offers

Besides angels, the range includes ceramic vessels - bowls, platters, butter dishes, mugs - as well as animal figurines, jewellery and decorations. The studio also runs ceramics workshops and bread- and pizza-baking workshops, during which participants shape their own pieces from clay.

The Kaczawa Mountains area

Dobków lies among the hills of the Kaczawa Mountains, close to the Mount Miłek nature reserve and Czartowska Skała. Towards Świerzawa it is also worth visiting the Church of St John and St Catherine.
