An abandoned palace from the second half of the 19th century above the Cicha Woda river in Usza, in poor technical condition, in private hands, entered in the heritage register.
Usza Palace stands abandoned above the Cicha Woda river, on the edge of a small village in Legnica County, and is today a ruin in private hands.
The palace was built in the second half of the 19th century. The whole complex, entered in the heritage register in 1986, includes, besides the palace itself, two residential outbuildings, a service outbuilding, two cowsheds, a farm building and a barn.
The palace's interiors have been heavily stripped and are in poor technical condition. The building passed into private hands, and the owner planned a thorough renovation that, however, never took place. The village of Usza was once slated to be resettled for a planned retention reservoir, but the reservoir was never built, and the village today is home to a dozen or so people.
