Historic 18th-19th century manor house with a park in the village of Wierzchownia, in Głogów County.
Wierzchownia Manor is a historic manor complex in a small village in Głogów County, in the Pęcław municipality, made up of the manor house and the surrounding park.
The manor house was built between the 18th and 19th centuries: construction began in the 18th century and was completed in the 19th century. The monument was entered in the heritage register under number 384/346/L, by a decision of 2 April 1963.
The manor house is part of a larger manor complex, which also includes the park next to it. The sources do not state how large the park is or what trees grow in it.
Available materials do not specify the current technical condition of the manor house, nor whether it is in use, inhabited, or standing empty. There is also no information on whether the interiors can be visited, so it's worth checking this before a planned visit, for example at the Pęcław municipal office.
Within a few kilometres of Wierzchownia stand several similar residences, including Turów Palace and Czerńczyce Palace, and further west Bełcz Wielki Palace. For children, there is also a mini rope park for children nearby.
