The highest peak of the Włodzickie Hills (757 m above sea level) with an observation tower opened in 2018.
Włodzicka Góra is the highest peak of the Włodzickie Hills, standing at 757 metres above sea level, with an observation tower on its summit.
The summit lies in the village of Świerki, west of Ludwikowice Kłodzkie, at the north-western end of the Włodzickie Hills range, in a bend of the upper Włodzica river. The mountain rises as a steep, fairly regular cone, which towards the south-east turns into a long, even ridge. The summit and a large part of the slopes are covered by spruce-beech forest, while the lower parts of the slopes and the south-western slope are covered by meadows, which partly turn into a peat bog formed at the start of the South Polish glaciation.
An observation tower stands on the summit, rebuilt by the Nowa Ruda Municipality as part of the Polish-Czech Ridge Trail programme, officially opened on 19 October 2018. The viewing terrace is at a height of 15 metres, offering a view over the Sudetes, including the Owl Mountains.
On the mountain's slope, remains of structures once used for loading and transporting stone from the nearby quarry have survived.
The peak is included in the Crown of the Polish Sudetes, a list of the most important summits of the Polish part of the Sudetes.
Further afield lie Wielka Sowa with its observation tower and the mountain Włodarz, and along the route is also Osówka with its underground complex.
