“How to Live Without Going Crazy” tells the story of Anka, whose life looks successful from the outside. She has a loving husband, great kids, a good job, and a wonderful apartment in the city center.
Soon, however, everything starts to fall apart: her husband cheats, she loses her job, the kids are moody, and a bailiff takes an interest in the apartment. The heroine faces a simple choice. She can lie down and despair, or finally start living on her own terms, according to her whims and “at full throttle.”
To make it work, Anka has to pull herself together, break free from her overprotective mother, come to terms with her kids, and find a new purpose for herself. She has no shortage of ideas, and in the age of recycling, as the description puts it, “an attractive secondhand lady has a great future.” The recipe for the new Anka: a handful of courage, plenty of self-confidence, a pinch of independence, and an ocean of humor.
