SOUNDS OF MEMORY – JAZZ ALL SOULS' CONCERT with Narodowa Orkiestra Dęta

“Sounds of Memory – Jazz All Souls’ Concert” takes place on Thursday, 5 November 2026, at 7:00 PM in the main hall of the MUZA Culture Centre in Lubin. The Narodowa Orkiestra Dęta w Lubinie will perform under the direction of Tomasz Kaniewski, joined by two vocalists:

• Dorota Miśkiewicz – jazz vocalist, violinist, composer and lyricist,
• Jasiek Piwowarczyk – winner of the 16th edition of “The Voice of Poland”.

The programme features mainly Polish music. Pieces associated with Zbigniew Wodecki, Krzysztof Komeda, Jerzy “Dudek” Matuszkiewicz and Felicjan Andrzejczak will be performed, including:

• “Rosemary’s Lullaby,”
• “Give Me a Little Sunshine,”
• “Tell Me Like That.”

Familiar melodies will be presented in new arrangements, with extended instrumental sections, solos and jazz improvisation, including instrumental versions. The organisers describe the concert as a story about memory, but without pathos.

Practical information: tickets cost 50 PLN. Seats in row XVIII in the main hall are less comfortable, as they have a smaller distance to the row in front and shorter seat backs.
