A small Neo-Renaissance palace from 1890 in Biernacice near Ziębice, today a private residential building, visible only from outside.
Biernacice Palace is a small Neo-Renaissance residence from 1890, standing in the village of Biernacice in the municipality of Ziębice, in Ząbkowice County.
The building was erected in 1890 of brick, rendered, on an irregular quadrilateral plan. It has two storeys, and on the front side a three-storey avant-corps rises from it, topped with a stepped gable and a square tower. The ground floor is decorated with rustication, and triangular lintels can be seen above the first-floor windows. The roof has two pitches.
At the time of construction the estate belonged to the ducal family of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach. The sources do not specify who the small palace served at the time - it may have been the manager's house or the residence of one of the ducal family's members. After the Second World War the building served a residential function, and it has retained this role to this day.
The small palace is privately owned. The entrance is secured, so the building can only be viewed from outside. It is adjoined by a park laid out in the second half of the 19th century. The building is listed in the heritage register of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship under number A/3596/1419/WŁ, entered on 10 January 1995.
