The southernmost summit of the Krucze Mountains in the Sudetes, 587 m above sea level, with traces of a former stone mine.
Buczak is the southernmost summit of the Krucze Mountains in the Sudetes, rising to 587 metres above sea level over the Szkło valley, near Okrzeszyn in Kamienna Góra County. It is a lower, south-eastern summit of the Bogoria ridge within the Kamienne Mountains.
The summit is built of Permian porphyries (trachytes), which form a small rocky cliff on the southern slope. At the same spot is an old mine reaching about 50 metres into the hill, a remnant of former stone quarrying.
The top is covered by small patches of spruce forest, and lower down grow mixed spruce-beech stands. Meadows at the foot gradually give way to scrub.
About 600 metres from the summit stands Luther's Chapel in Okrzeszyn. In the same range, less than 3 kilometres away, rises Jański Wierch, and about 7 kilometres to the east lies Krucza Skała, after which the Krucze Mountains range is named.
