Castle Hill is a peak at an altitude of 618 metres above sea level in the Wałbrzych Mountains, rising above the Glinik district of Wałbrzych, with the ruins of a medieval castle on its summit.
The hill lies in the Central Sudetes, in the Rybnicki Grzbiet massif, south of the Podgórze district. Below the summit, on the north-western side, flows the Pełcznica. The whole area lies within the Wałbrzych Sudetes Landscape Park.
The hill is made of extrusive rocks, Permian melaphyres, and has a cone shape with steep slopes and a clearly marked flat summit surface.
The ruins of the medieval defensive castle of Nowy Dwór survive on the summit. The whole hill is covered with lower montane beech forest.
Not far away are other peaks of the Wałbrzych Mountains, including Borowa with its observation tower, as well as the Stara Kopalnia Centre for Science and Art in Wałbrzych.
