A Neo-Gothic filial church from 1884 in Dąbrowa Górna, originally an Evangelical cemetery chapel.
The Church of St Joseph in Dąbrowa Górna is a small, brick church from the late 19th century, standing in a village in Lubin County.
Construction began in March 1884 and was completed in November of the same year. It was built by the Evangelical community of Dąbrowa Górna, who had lived in the village from the mid-16th century until 1945, as a cemetery chapel dedicated to St John. The building survived the Second World War without damage, and after 1945 it was handed over to Catholics and renamed the Church of St Joseph. In 1888 a wooden bell tower with a steel bell was added.
It is a modest, single-nave building of clinker brick in the Neo-Gothic style, reinforced with several buttresses, with a five-sided chancel and pointed window openings. Inside, an altar dating from the time of construction has survived, along with a wooden, painted ceiling decorated with plant motifs.
The church operates as a filial church of the parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Mleczno and continues to serve a sacred function today.
