A border summit, 723 m above sea level, in the Suche Mountains, on the Polish-Czech border.
Czarna is a summit 723 metres above sea level, lying exactly on the Polish-Czech border. It belongs to the Suche Mountains, part of the Kamienne Mountains in the Central Sudetes, and rises south of Świerki and north-west of Dworki, in Kłodzko County.
The elevation is built of Permian effusive rocks - melaphyres, also known as trachybasalts. These rocks are quarried on the eastern slope of the mountain. On the Czech side of the border the summit is covered by a lower-montane spruce forest, while on the Polish side there are small copses, fields, meadows and wasteland. The Czech, south-western part of the elevation lies within the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area.
A few kilometres away lies Włodzicka Góra with an observation tower, and in the area of Głuszyca there are the underground workings of Osówka, also known as the Mysterious Underground City of Osówka.
