The largest city park in Głogów, with a monument to war victims, a historic gazebo from 1910 and a cycling education zone.
Forest Park in Głogów is the largest green area in the city. It stretches from the roundabout on Krzywoustego street, along Wały Chrobrego and Piastowska street, all the way to Rudnowska street.
In the park, near the junction of Krzywoustego and Staromiejska streets, stands a monument dedicated to Polish and German victims of the war, violence and expulsion from the Głogów region.
Within the park stands a restored gazebo from 1910, in the shape of a domed rotunda. Inside it is a bust of Johann Wolfgang Goethe.
The park also has a dedicated road-safety education zone, where children and beginner cyclists learn to ride.
