A historic complex of earth-and-masonry fortifications in Lubin from the 1930s, today cared for by the Historical Museum in Lubin.
The former artillery shooting range is a historic complex of earth-and-masonry fortifications in Lubin, today a heritage site cared for by the Historical Museum in Lubin.
The facility was built for the armoured-motorised unit of the 4th Dragoon Regiment, stationed in barracks in Lubin from 1889. Until 1945 the range was used by German military units, and afterwards by Soviet forces.
The complex is made up of brick and earth structures - tunnels covered with earth were built between the firing positions, and the site is complemented by masonry screens and brick ammunition stores.
Since 2018 the site has been entered in the voivodeship register of heritage monuments.
The site is cared for by the Historical Museum in Lubin. Nearby, in Lubin, are also the Lubin Zoo and the Rope Park.
