A bronze monument to Frédéric Chopin in the Spa Park in Duszniki-Zdrój, unveiled in 1976, by Jan Kucz.
The Frédéric Chopin Monument stands in the Spa Park in Duszniki-Zdrój, right in front of the southern entrance to the Chopin Spa Theatre. It is a full-figure bronze statue, one of the few in Poland commemorating Chopin in this form.
The monument was designed with the Polish community in Britain in mind, but was ultimately erected in Poland, in the town associated with the young Chopin's stay. The sculptor was Jan Kucz.
The monument was unveiled in 1976, during the 30th International Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój. The ceremony was combined with the 150th anniversary of the composer's stay in the town.
