A hill 304.9 m above sea level in the Sub-Sudetic Depression, recognised by PTTK as the highest hill in the region, part of the Crown of the Polish Sudetes.
Górzno is a hill 304.9 metres above sea level, lying in the Sub-Sudetic Depression in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, about six kilometres west of the centre of Świdnica.
Górzno has the form of a flat mound with a small, gently raised summit. The slopes are gentle and merge into neighbouring, slightly lower hillocks. On the summit itself grows a small clump of trees, and around it, on the slopes, stretch farm fields.
The Mountain Tourism Commission of PTTK (Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society) recognised the hill as the highest in the Sub-Sudetic Depression and included it on the list of peaks of the Crown of the Polish Sudetes (Korona Sudetów Polskich).
To the east, Górzno neighbours the village of Komorów, and national road number 35 runs beside it.
Within a few kilometres lies Świdnica with the Church of Peace.
In the same Świdnica also stands the Cathedral of St Stanislaus and St Wenceslaus.
Not far from here is also Książ Castle.
