Historic manor house from the second half of the 18th century in the village of Jakubów in the Radwanice municipality, Polkowice County.
Jakubów Manor stands in the village of Jakubów in the Radwanice municipality, in Polkowice County, in Lower Silesia. It is a historic building erected in the second half of the 18th century, listed in the heritage register on 15 March 1961 under number A/2916/166/316/L.
The manor house was built in the second half of the 18th century. Sources do not give the name of its founder or the successive owners of the estate - one of the gaps that cannot be filled today without further archival research.
Available materials do not state directly in what condition the building is today - whether it is inhabited, standing empty, or undergoing renovation. Before planning a visit, it is worth checking this on site or with the Radwanice municipality, as the building is private and not open to visitors as such.
The village lies near Głogów, in a quiet, agricultural part of Polkowice County. Close to the manor house, in the same village, also stands the Jakubów Palace, and a few hundred metres away lies the Buczyna Jakubowska Nature Reserve. In Głogów, a few kilometres to the east, are, among others, the Church of Our Lady, Queen of Poland in Głogów and the St Maximilian Maria Kolbe's Church in Głogów.
