Jarosław Palace

Jarosław Palace stands in a village belonging to the Udanin municipality, right by the A4 motorway, in Środa Śląska County. It is a small, brick-built and plastered structure, entered in the heritage register under number A/2717/987/L (entered on 21 October 1993) together with the whole former palace-and-farmstead complex.

Construction and the building's form

According to the register card, construction of the palace began in the 19th century and was completed in the 20th century. The building has one upper storey, a high basement, and is covered by a hipped roof, with a wooden veranda added to the facade. The documentation does not give the name of the founder or the subsequent owners of the estate - one of the questions still awaiting an answer in local archives.

The farmstead complex

Heritage protection covers the palace itself along with the whole layout of farm buildings: two residential houses at numbers 2 and 4, another house at number 5, two barns, a stable used as a cattle shed, a workshop, a smithy and a coach house. It is completed by a park and the area of the former farmstead, spreading around the main building.

The available sources do not specify the technical condition the building is in today or who manages it. Before planning a visit, this is worth checking locally, for example at the Udanin municipal office, since the palace stands on private property and does not have the status of a site open to visitors.
