About Kijowice Park

A historic 19th-century village park in Kijowice, Bierutów municipality, with a former inn known after the war as "harmonia".

Kijowice Park is a historic village park from the 19th century, established in the village of Kijowice in the Bierutów municipality.

History of the founding

The park was entered in the heritage register under number A/3319/519/W, by a decision of 27 December 1984. It was created in the 19th century as part of a former manor complex typical of this part of Lower Silesia.

The former "harmonia" inn

An inn once stood on the park grounds, which after the Second World War operated under the name "harmonia". Sources do not say whether the inn building has survived to this day or in what condition.

Nearby

Kijowice lies close to Bierutów, home to the Church of St Joseph the Betrothed of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Evangelical-Lutheran church. In the same municipality, in Wabienice, stands a second historic park of similar origin.
