Kolejkowo is a moving model railway in Wrocław, run by a company that creates the largest exhibitions of this kind in Poland. It now operates in the Sky Tower building, having moved there from its original location by Świebodzki station.
The model is based on the movement of miniature railway and tram rolling stock, as well as road vehicles, ships and aircraft. The Wrocław edition recreates scenes from Silesia and Lower Silesia, built in G scale, covering an area of about a thousand square metres. The exhibition includes about 720 metres of railway track, 19 trains and 60 carriages, 347 buildings, including faithful reproductions of Silesian architecture, more than 6,300 hand-painted figures of people and animals, and about 215 miniature vehicles.
Among the recreated objects are the Renoma department store, the headquarters of the Wrocław fire brigade, prepared in cooperation with firefighters, and the town hall. Elements such as street lighting and window lighting change on a day-night cycle, and one scene shows a storm with simulated rain and lightning, while another shows a dynamic fire brigade rescue operation.
Kolejkowo's first exhibition was created in 2015, right here in Wrocław, by Świebodzki station. A second location opened in Gliwice a year later. During the pandemic closures, the Wrocław exhibition moved to Sky Tower. The company also has a production and creative centre in Jelenia Góra, and since 2025 has also had a branch in Warsaw.
Nearby it is worth visiting the Museum of Games and Computers of a Bygone Era and the National Forum of Music. Not far from here are also Wolności Square and the Royal Palace.
