A two-summited peak in the Kamienne Mountains on the border with the Czech Republic, with a green border trail.
Kozina is a two-summited peak in the Kamienne Mountains, in the Central Sudetes, lying south of Sokołowsko. The higher summit reaches 796 metres above sea level, the lower one 793 metres, and the state border with the Czech Republic runs right across the peak.
Kozina lies on the border ridge, west of Granicznik. The Polish part of the elevation lies within the Wałbrzych Sudetes Landscape Park, the Czech part within the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area.
The elevation is built of Permian porphyritic (rhyolitic) tuffs, belonging to the northern wing of the Intra-Sudetic Basin. The slopes and summit are covered by lower montane spruce forest with a significant admixture of beech.
A green-marked hiking trail crosses the summit of Kozina, running along the border from Tłumaczów to the Okraj Pass. Other peaks of the Kamienne and Wałbrzych Mountains rise in the area, including Waligóra and Rogowiec with the ruins of Rogowiec Castle.
