Kuczaba

Kuczaba is a summit 651 m above sea level in the Owl Mountains, near Jodłownik, on the edge of Dzierżoniów County, right by the border with Ząbkowice County.

Location and structure

The hill lies on a side spur running north from the main ridge of the Owl Mountains, between Wigancicka Meadow and Woliborska Pass. The massif is built of Precambrian gneisses and migmatites with amphibolite lenses.

Views and approach

From the summit there are views of Bielawa on one side and Woliborska Pass on the other. The hill is covered with forest, through which a path leads to Jodłownik. Nearby also rises Kalenica with its observation tower.
