The highest, entirely forested peak of the Kamienne Mountains with traces of three wind fissures on its eastern slopes.
Lesista Wielka is the highest peak of the Dzikowiec and Lesista Wielka Massif in the Kamienne Mountains, rising to 851 metres above sea level between the Ścinawka valley and the Grzędzki Stream. The ridge, about 6 kilometres long, is entirely covered with forest, which is why the peak offers no wide views.
The mountain is built of Permian igneous rocks belonging to the Intra-Sudetic Basin. The summit has an extensive, almost flat plateau surface covering more than 30 hectares, mostly covered with forest.
On the eastern slopes there is a system of three mutually perpendicular fissures, each about 5 metres deep. The fissures formed through erosion in porphyry tuffs, and the air inside them stays close to the average annual temperature.
Because of the dense forest cover limiting visibility from the summit, there is mention of plans to build an observation tower, which would improve the panorama from the top.
Waligóra also lies within the Kamienne Mountains range, and closer to the valley is Zoo Łączna. A few kilometres further are the Dwarfs' Boulders Nature Reserve and Diabelska Maczuga - Czarcia Skała.
