A small peak in the Table Mountains, in the Zawory range, right by the border with the Czech Republic.
Mielna is a small peak in the Table Mountains, in the Zawory range, south-east of the village of Łączna in Wałbrzych County. It rises to about 662 metres above sea level.
The hill forms a small ridge running north-south. The massif is built of Upper Cretaceous sandstones and mudstones, beneath which lie reddish Triassic sandstones, visible on the eastern, northern and western sides. South of the summit runs the border with the Czech Republic.
Closest, less than a kilometre from the summit, is Zoo Łączna. Within a few kilometres there are also the Głazy Krasnoludków Nature Reserve and the hill of Lesista Wielka.
