The Neon Gallery is located in a courtyard at Ruska 46 in Wrocław and displays historic neon signs rescued from the city's streets.
The gallery has 30 exhibits on display, mostly dating from the 1960s and 1970s. The signs were rescued from destruction, having previously lit up shops, cinemas and industrial plants in Wrocław. The rescue work is carried out by the Neon Side Foundation.
Ruska 46 is a space of around 7,000 square metres, home to about 40 organisations, art studios, galleries, music bands, clubs, theatres, NGOs and freelancers. It functions as a local cultural hub.
The courtyard is located in the centre of Wrocław, a short distance from the Market Square and the Wrocław Town Hall, as well as from the National Forum of Music and the Wrocław Opera.
