The largest and active cemetery in Lądek-Zdrój on Śnieżna street, with a historic chapel from 1908 and a passion cross from 1877.
The parish cemetery in Lądek-Zdrój, at Śnieżna 12, is the largest cemetery in the town and remains an active necropolis.
The cemetery was established in the second half of the 19th century, when the town's older cemetery could no longer cope with the needs of the growing population. In the second half of the 1970s the grounds were enlarged, incorporating the neighbouring Protestant cemetery.
The site, covering several hectares, has three sections: the oldest Catholic section from the late 19th century, a Protestant section set apart at the beginning of the 20th century, and the newest one, established at the start of the 21st century. Graves are arranged in rectangular and square plots.
The cemetery has a stone passion cross from 1877 and a cemetery chapel funded in 1908 by Adolf Kessel, general director of a locomotive factory. Also buried here is Aleksander Ostrowicz (1839-1903), regarded as a pioneer of tourism in the Kłodzko Valley.
