A replica of an 18th-century pillory with a figure of a peasant on the pedestal, rebuilt in the market square in Kłodzko.
The pillory in Kłodzko is a replica of the former pillory that stood in the market square until 1793.
The original pillory stood in the eastern part of the market square, by the town well and the entrance to the town hall, and was removed in 1793. The replica was rebuilt in 2011 from sandstone brought from Radków. The monument is 460 centimetres tall, and on the pedestal stands a figure of a peasant with a sack of grain.
The monument stands next to the market square, close to Kłodzko Fortress and the Underground Tourist Route. Also nearby are the Museum of the Kłodzko Land and the Franciscan monastery complex in Kłodzko.
