A private museum in Karpacz with over 100 consoles and computers, some available to play on original hardware, in the building of the Lego museum.
The Video Game Console Museum in Karpacz is a private institution devoted to the history of gaming hardware, located in the same building as the Private Museum of Technology and Lego Brick Constructions.
The museum opened on 27 June 2015. Its holdings include over 100 exhibits of consoles and computers, including more than a dozen machines available to play. The oldest console in the collection is the Philips Tele-Spiel from 1975. The collection also includes the Polish console Ameprod TVG10.
Part of the exhibition can be operated by visitors themselves: more than a dozen machines are made available to visitors for playing retro games on the original hardware, not just for viewing behind glass.
The venue lies on the route towards Wang Church, and nearby is also the Karkonosze Mysteries museum and the Museum of Sport and Tourism in Karpacz.
