A hill in the Jelenia Góra Valley, in the Łomnica Hills, between Czarne and Łomnica.
Ziębiniec is a hill in the Jelenia Góra Valley, in the northern part of the Łomnica Hills, between Czarne and Łomnica. Though not very high, it stands out in the surrounding terrain as a prominent hill with an elongated, dome-shaped form.
The summit reaches 449 metres above sea level. It is built of Karkonosze granite in its porphyritic variety, cut through by veins of aplogranite, and its characteristic form results from selective weathering. The hill has steep slopes on the south-western side, and to the north it joins Zamkowa Góra, while to the south-west it borders Żabiniec.
The summit area and upper slopes are covered by spruce forest with an admixture of deciduous trees, and meadows spread out lower down.
A few kilometres away lies the Palace in Łomnica, and in Jelenia Góra itself, Henryk's Castle and the Norwegian Park in Cieplice Śląskie-Zdrój.
