A viewpoint on the summit of Góra Parkowa (508 m above sea level) in Jan III Sobieski Park in Wałbrzych, with a view over Stary Zdrój and the towers of Książ Castle.
The Góra Parkowa Viewpoint is located on the summit of a hill 508 metres above sea level, the highest in Jan III Sobieski Park in Wałbrzych. The hill lies between the Śródmieście, Nowe Miasto and Stary Zdrój districts.
From the viewpoint there is a view over the Stary Zdrój district, with Szczawienko partly visible and the towers of Książ Castle. On the summit there used to be benches and a small observation terrace with a railing.
The hill was formerly called Góra Szubieniczna (Gallows Hill), a name linked to executions once carried out there, meant as a warning to the residents of Wałbrzych.
