About Kamiona Manor

Kamiona Manor is a historic residence in Głogów County, built in the 18th century and rebuilt in the following century.

History of the building

Construction of the manor house was completed in the 18th century, and in the 19th century the building underwent major alterations. The manor house and its accompanying park were entered in the heritage register under separate decisions: the manor house itself as monument no. A/2970/391 of 2 April 1963, and the park as A/2971/553/L of 6 May 1980.

Park next to the manor house

The manor house is part of a manor complex that includes a park, protected by a separate heritage register entry. Sources do not describe its current appearance or the surviving tree stand.

Condition and accessibility

It has not been possible to establish whether the manor house is currently inhabited, in use or standing empty, nor whether it is open to visitors. It's worth checking this at the municipal office before visiting.

About 6 kilometres from Kamiona lies Głogów with the Castle of the Dukes of Głogów, the town hall and the Bridge of Tolerance. A little closer, 5.6 kilometres away, stands Jakubów Palace.
