A private museum in Kudowa-Zdrój with a collection of more than 650 minerals, gemstones and fossils from five continents.
The Museum of Minerals in Kudowa-Zdrój is a private institution presenting a collection built up over 40 years: gemstones, minerals, fossils and a meteorite specimen.
The exhibition includes more than 650 minerals, gemstones and fossils from five continents. A visit takes about 40 minutes.
The museum has an adjoining shop offering jewellery and minerals, so after the visit you can also buy a souvenir related to the theme of the exhibition.
The museum is privately run, not state or municipal, which sets it apart from most museum institutions in the Kłodzko region. The collection grew over decades before becoming a permanent exhibition open to visitors.
