An educational and exhibition facility of the Table Mountains National Park in Kudowa-Zdrój, showing the nature of the range and the former Frog Museum exhibition.
The Table Mountains National Park Eco-Centre is an educational and exhibition centre in Kudowa-Zdrój, run by the Table Mountains National Park.
In the same place, between 2002 and 2013, the Frog Museum operated, presenting around 3,000 exhibits from 20 countries, showing the ecology of frogs and their image in culture. The Ecocentre was established in 2012, and the Frog Museum building was demolished as part of construction work carried out in 2013. The new facility was opened in 2014.
The permanent exhibition presents the nature of the Table Mountains: fauna, flora and inanimate nature, that is, the history of the formation and shaping of the mountain range. It also shows the tourist and sightseeing attractions of the national park and elements of the former Frog Museum exhibition.
The facility carries out educational activities: lessons, themed workshops and multimedia talks. The Ecocentre operates all year round, with opening hours that vary depending on the season.
It's close from here to the Interactive Museum of the Kłodzko Land.
In the same town it is also worth visiting the Museum of Minerals in Kudowa-Zdrój.
A little further away is the Skull Chapel in Czermna.
Mountain lovers can also reach the Błędne Skały (Errant Rocks) from here.
