A municipal museum in the historic Kauffung Knight's House in Ząbkowice Śląskie, with Dr Frankenstein's Laboratory and a gravediggers' room.
The Regional Heritage Room in Ząbkowice Śląskie is a municipal museum housed in the Kauffung Knight's House, a historic 17th-century residential building erected in brick in the Renaissance style.
The institution operates in a building listed in the register of immovable heritage monuments, dated to the first half of the 17th century, which originally served as a residential house.
The Room was founded in 1972 on the initiative of Józef Glabiszewski. The institution is a municipal organisational unit of Ząbkowice Śląskie.
Since 2001 the building has housed Dr Frankenstein's Laboratory, and in 2014 a gravediggers' room was opened, presenting the history of the trial of eight gravediggers.
The Ząbkowice Śląskie Castle stands close by, and nearby is the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Ząbkowice Śląskie. The area also has the Jewish cemetery in Ząbkowice Śląskie.
