A dome-shaped peak in the Krucze Mountains, about 2.5 km south of Lubawka, with red-coloured porphyry rocks on its slope.
Sępia Góra is a small peak in the Krucze Mountains, part of the Kamienne Mountains in the Central Sudetes, rising to about 740 metres above sea level. It lies less than 2.5 kilometres south of the centre of Lubawka, on the western side of the Valley of Love, at the end of a ridge running from Szeroka through Polska Góra.
The peak has a dome-like shape and steep slopes. On its south-eastern flank lies a group of porphyry rocks with a distinctive red colour, visible among the surrounding forest.
Sępia Góra is built of Permian porphyries, also called trachytes, and partly of sandstones and conglomerates belonging to the western wing of the Central Sudetic Basin. The slopes and summit are covered by lower montane spruce forest with an admixture of deciduous trees.
Sępia Góra lies in the same range as Krucza Skała, less than a kilometre away.
Within a few kilometres there is also the Kruczy Kamień nature reserve.
The nearby peak of Bógdał has a similarly wooded character.
