Viewing platform by a former quarry near Bolków, with a telescope and a view of Bolków Castle.
The Stary Kamieniołom Viewpoint lies on voivodeship road 333 leading from Bolków towards Kaczorów, within the Land of Extinct Volcanoes Geopark.
A lime-tree avenue leads from the car park to the viewpoint, and the walk takes about 10 minutes. At the top there is a viewing platform equipped with a free telescope.
In good visibility, Bolków Castle can be seen from the platform. On the other side of the path lies the area of the former keratophyre quarry, with a shelter and information boards.
The route has the character of an educational trail: it has information boards, puzzle riddles, benches and a swing, so the place is also suitable for a stop with children.
The closest attraction is Bolków Castle, visible from the platform, as well as Świny Castle. Nearby also lie the Angel Fountain in Bolków and the Józkowa Góra viewpoint.
