The First, Lowest Observation Tower

Łężyce
About The First, Lowest Observation Tower

A playful observation tower in Łężyce about 20 centimetres tall, built in 2021 after a Czech original.

In Łężyce, in Kłodzko County, stands an observation tower that is barely about 20 centimetres tall. The structure was put up in July 2021, modelled on a Czech observation tower near Nouzov, close to Semily.

How the tower came about

The tower was built by the hosts Dorota and Piotr, inspired by the Czech original. It is only about 20 centimetres above the ground, which makes it a playful opposite of a classic observation tower.

What is by the tower

A small stream flows next to the tower, and there is a small pond. The spot is equipped with benches, a swing and a campfire pit. Since 2024, in season, a food stand called Paśnik przy Wieży (The Manger by the Tower) has been operating here, serving grilled sausages, cheeses, black pudding and potatoes.

Nearby

The area lies in the tourist municipalities of Kłodzko County, so there are several other attractions nearby.
