A Gothic tower from the 15th century at ulica Tkacka in Chojnów, part of the former town walls.
Weavers' Tower is a Gothic tower from the first half of the 15th century at ulica Tkacka 16 in Chojnów, part of the town's former fortifications.
The tower was built in the first half of the 15th century as part of the defensive town walls of Chojnów. It was built of brick, and its function in the heritage register is described simply as a tower. The building is entered into the register of immovable heritage monuments of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, with entries from 1959, 1997 and 2010.
Sources date the tower to the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, which corresponds to the period when the town fortifications in this part of Silesia were being extended.
Nearby is the Regional Museum in Chojnów, and not far away stretches Piastowski Park. Close to the tower also stands the Weaver's Fountain, whose name refers to the same part of the town walls.
