Kino: Bolesławiec

Cinema in Bolesławiec: check which halls run screenings, what kinds of films keep coming back to the programme and how to buy tickets online.

Which hall shows the film?

Screenings take place at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre (Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury), in two halls: the FORUM Hall, which has by far the most screenings in the calendar, and the smaller CHAMBER Hall (Sala KAMERALNA). The hall is named next to every date. The larger room suits new releases and family films, the smaller one screenings for a narrower audience.

What is on at the cinema?

The programme includes new releases, animated films for children, comedies, dramas and Polish productions. On top of that come film club screenings, marked with the clubs' abbreviations, and seasonal special events, for example Christmas screenings. Special events that are not ordinary premieres also appear on the screen.

If you are going with children, look for a mention of dubbing in the description. For screenings of foreign films, read the event description to see which language version is shown, as the calendar entry may specify it.

How do you buy a cinema ticket?

The "Kup bilet" (buy ticket) button next to a screening leads to KupBilecik or Bilety24. You pick a seat there, pay and the ticket lands on your phone. Showtimes change often, so check the current calendar on this page before you leave home.
