Cinema in Oborniki Śląskie means Kino Astra: one screening room, films for adults and kids, plus special shows. Check showtimes and buy tickets.
Every screening on this list takes place in the same spot: Kino Astra and its screening room. There is no need to compare locations or check which building a film is shown in. The cinema is run by Kulturalne Oborniki Śląskie, the same institution that runs the culture centre, so you can also add a non-film event to the same evening. The full town calendar is on the events in Oborniki Śląskie page.
Besides the regular programme, the calendar includes formats that set this cinema apart. There are morning shows for children, some with live music, and family screenings of animated films. Adults get film club screenings and a series for dedicated film lovers. On top of that come occasional events, such as an all-night film marathon, and screenings that combine a film with live music.
Concert recordings shown on the big screen also appear. For someone who cannot get to a concert in a bigger city, it is a way to see an artist without the trip.
Titles change every week, so we do not list them in the description. The current list with times is at the top of the page, and the date filter helps you pick a day that suits you.
Every screening has a "Buy ticket" button. It takes you to KupBilecik or Bilety24, where you choose a time and pay without leaving your hotel room. Buying ahead makes sense especially for special screenings and live-music shows, because there is only one room and the seats are limited.
