Cinema in Wałbrzych: the Kino Apollo programme with new releases, film classics and film meetings. Pick a film, a day and a time.
The screenings in our calendar take place at Kino Apollo. A single address makes for a simple plan: choose a film, a day and a time, and spend the rest of the evening in the city centre. The calendar shows the nearest dates, so you see at once what is on today and at the weekend.
The programme combines new releases with special screenings. Alongside dramas and adaptations there is a classic film series in which cult films return. A separate category are the "Filmowy Wałbrzych" meetings, screenings with an accompanying talk. Check the description to see who is speaking and about what, because such dates are rarer than regular screenings.
It is a good idea for an evening after sightseeing, or for a rainy day. The classics series lets you see on a big screen a film you know only from television.
Choose the day first, then the film. Where online sales are available, you will find a "Buy ticket" button next to the date. Before you go with guests from abroad or with children, check the screening description for the language version of the film.
If the cinema does not work for you, look at theatre in Wałbrzych, concerts in Wałbrzych or cabaret in Wałbrzych. The full city overview is under events in Wałbrzych, programmes from other towns are in cinema in Lower Silesia, and a plan for the rest of the day is in attractions in Wałbrzych.
