Two addresses host almost all the live music. The Ośrodek Współpracy Europejskiej „Odra” (European Cooperation Centre), or OWE Odra, is the place for most concerts in our calendar. Smaller events choose the Centrum Sztuki w Oławie (Oława Arts Centre), specifically its Branch No. 1. We list the hall next to each date, so you know where to go.
The programme is varied. For lovers of classical music there are evenings devoted to Chopin and Liszt. Fans of the Polish scene will find concerts by well-known singers and bands, including anniversary shows by groups with decades of history. In winter there is also a carol concert.
Do not search by name alone. Look at the descriptions, because a solo recital is a different experience from a band concert, and a carol evening differs from an anniversary show. Match the form to your mood and to the people you go with, and you will quickly find a date that suits you.
