Most listings in the calendar are staged by the Strzegomskie Centrum Kultury (Strzegom Culture Centre). Its stage hosts the plays, concerts and cabaret shows you see on this page. You do not have to guess which address to head for: every event shows its venue and date, and the town is small enough for one stage to carry the whole programme.
Theatre comes first, with stage plays that include comedies and farces. Music is the second strand, with concerts that work for a date or a night out with friends. Cabaret is the third, a relaxed way to end a working day. Filter the calendar by type and you can narrow the choice quickly instead of scrolling the whole list.
On the list, choose the type that interests you: theatre, music or cabaret, and sort the events by date. An event card holds the description, the name of the stage and the purchase button. Going out with someone? Send them the link to the card instead of retyping the details. It also helps to look a few dates ahead, so you can fit the show to your own schedule rather than the other way round.
If you cannot decide, go by company. For an evening with a partner, theatre or a concert will serve better; for a group of friends, cabaret, because laughter in a group works harder than alone.
The "Buy ticket" button on an event leads to KupBilecik or Bilety24, the official sales platforms. You can buy from your phone and skip the queue at the door. Check the date on the event card, because the repertoire changes from week to week.
If you arrive early, drop into the Public Library of the Town and Municipality of Strzegom. Besides its main building it runs branches in six villages of the municipality, and its digital archive of local chronicles shows how the town used to look.
