Events in Brzeg Dolny: cinema, cabaret, theatre and music at Kino Odra and the Dolnobrzeski Ośrodek Kultury, with a calendar and tickets.
The programme centres on two venues. The first is Kino Odra, more precisely its Sala Widowiskowa (event hall). The second is the Dolnobrzeski Ośrodek Kultury, the local culture centre. On the list you will find cinema, cabaret, music and theatre. The screenings are chosen for different audiences: there are animated films for children and productions for adults. Cabaret and stand-up come to the culture centre, and alongside them you will see concerts and comedy shows.
We do not list individual titles or names, because the calendar changes all the time. The current schedule is in the list above this text, and you can open each category separately. If you want a screening, open the cinema category, and when you feel like live comedy, choose cabaret. That way you do not scroll the whole list but see straight away what you are in the mood for.
Click “Kup bilet” (buy a ticket) next to the event. The button leads to KupBilecik or Bilety24, where you choose seats and pay. Before you buy, check the start time and entry rules there. This matters especially for family screenings: if you are going with a small child, make sure which age a film or show is recommended for.
When you have an hour or two to fill, you can pick from several place cards. HeadShot Paintball is a playing area in the “Burza” forest, described as the only such place in the Wołów county. Children from 8 years old, teenagers and adults play here, and one event can host up to 80 people. A calmer option is the shooting range on Olimpijska street, which accepts all kinds of firearms, with reservations by phone only.
For rain and quiet, the TAMA library at Wyspiańskiego 5A is a good fit. It serves the whole municipality, has three branches, offers e-books through Legimi, and provides zones for work and meetings.
