Things to do in Trzebieszowice: the Radochów Cave, open to visitors, and three peaks of the Złote Mountains and Krowiarki nearby.

What can you see in the Radochów Cave?

The Radochów Cave is a karst cave open to visitors, set in a lens of marble in the valley of the Jaskiniec stream, at the foot of Bzowiec in the Góry Złote. It lies near the village of Radochów in the Lądek-Zdrój commune. The first mentions of it date from 1753. At first only a small part could be visited, because much of it was filled with sediment. Only in 1933-1935 did Heinrich Peregrin, a former miner acting as the cave's caretaker, work there. Palaeontological finds from the 1930s came out of the cave.

Which peak to choose above Trzebieszowice?

Bzowiec (697 m above sea level) is fully forested, so there are no viewpoints above the treetops. The entrance to the cave is on its southern slopes. A stretch of the E3 trail runs along the eastern foot, from Radochów through Ptasznik towards Podzamek.

Koleba has two summits, 620 and 610 m, and lies about 1.5 km south of the village. Prosta (572 m) lies about 1.3 km from Trzebieszowice, and the railway station in the village is the landmark on the way in.

Where to go next?

The summits are gathered on the page for mountains in Trzebieszowice. In the Kłodzko region also look at Kłodzko, Kudowa-Zdrój, Nowa Ruda, Lądek-Zdrój and Stronie Śląskie.
