Gać near Oława has an educational farm for groups, a Gothic church recorded since 1306 and an 18th-century palace with a manor farm complex.
Gać Ranch is an educational farm that welcomes school and kindergarten groups and adults. Riding, creative and cooking workshops last from one to three hours, and full-day visits are possible, though there is no overnight stay. Horses, goats, hens, dogs and a cat live on the farm. The ranch lies among fields, meadows and woods, about 7 kilometres from Oława and Brzeg and about 30 kilometres from Wrocław.
The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is a Gothic branch church, mentioned since 1306 and listed as a monument in 1957. The chancel and sacristy were built in the first half of the 14th century. It is a single-nave brick building with a three-sided chancel, steep shingle roofs and pointed windows with tracery. Around the middle of the 15th century the interior was decorated with paintings.
The 18th-century palace in Gać forms, with the former manor farm, a complex entered in the register of monuments. It includes a former distillery, an outbuilding, a granary, an ice house and the grounds of old gardens. The complex was rebuilt in the 19th and 20th centuries, so its present look is the result of many changes.
For a longer trip choose Oława, Bystrzyca or Jelcz-Laskowice. The Zwierzyniec nature reserve also lies not far from Gać.
