Łężyce in the Table Mountains: Narożnik for climbing, Puchacza Rocks, the African Savanna meadow and a lookout tower only 20 centimetres tall.

Where can you climb in Łężyce?

Narożnik stands 849 m high and is one of the more important climbing spots of the region. Vertical walls of upper Table Mountains sandstone, the youngest rock layer of the range, carry over a hundred climbing routes. The peak lies south-east of the Lisia Przełęcz pass and is covered with spruce forest. There is also a viewpoint, and entry is free.

Where can you see an old quarry?

Puchacza Rocks, also called the Owl Rocks, lie at 730 m, between Narożnik and the Batorów Escarpment, north-east of Łężyce. They belong to Table Mountains National Park. Sandstone was quarried here from the second half of the 19th century, and the walls of the pit and a stone ramp remain. A view opens from the edge of the quarry.

What can you see in Łężyce at a relaxed pace?

Łężyckie Skałki, known as the African Savanna, is a wide mountain meadow at around 740-780 m, protected as a nature reserve. Szczeliniec Wielki and the Errant Rocks (Błędne Skały) are its neighbours. Sources do not describe the access, so check trails before you set out. For contrast, the First Lowest Observation Tower, built in 2021, is about 20 centimetres tall, an idea of the hosts Dorota and Piotr. A small stream flows beside it, and there is a pond, benches, a swing and a fire pit, with a food stand open in season since 2024.
