Attractions in Kamionki: four peaks of the Owl Mountains in a landscape park, from Żebrak (715 m) to Kozia Równia (930 m).

Which peak near Kamionki is the highest?

Kozia Równia is 930 m high, but it is an unremarkable, flat summit on a broad plateau, so it is hard to pick out on the ground. It lies southeast of the Kozie Siodło pass (885 m), which separates it from Wielka Sowa, and north of Jugów. The Jugowska Pass (805 m) divides it from neighbouring Rymarz, 913 m. From Rymarz it is under one and a half kilometres to Kalenica and a little over four to Wielka Sowa with its lookout tower.

Which peak is best for a shorter outing?

Żebrak (715 m) is a small forested peak right by the village of Kamionki, about 15 metres higher than neighbouring Kopista. The western and eastern slopes are steep, and the summit itself is faintly marked. Paragneiss and migmatite form the rock.

Korczak (758 m, formerly Kornetkoppe) has a dome shape and a clearly marked summit. A yellow trail from Bielawa through Kalenica to Nowa Ruda runs along its southeastern slope close to the top. Lenses of amphibolite show on the summit, and the lower-montane forest has a small admixture of beech.

The mountains alone are on the page about mountains in Kamionki. On the other side of the range check Bielawa, Dzierżoniów, Rościszów, Jaźwina and Ostroszowice.
