a forested summit on a side ridge of the Rudawy Janowickie, within the Rudawy Janowickie Landscape Park

Mountains in Rędziny means Stróżnik, Dzicza Góra and Bielec: summits from 808 to 880.8 m in the Rudawy Landscape Park.

Which summit is open to hikers?

Of the three, Stróżnik is the easiest to approach. It is 808 m above sea level and lies on a side ridge linking the Wielka Kopa massif with Dzicza Góra. It is built of sericite-chlorite-quartz schist and amphibolite. Forest covers almost all of it, with meadows and fields lower down.

Why is Dzicza Góra closed to hikers?

Dzicza Góra (880.8 m) is the second summit of the Rudawy Janowickie and, according to the sources, not open to tourists. The view opens thanks to cleared slopes. The geology is complex: granite on the western slopes, phyllite at the top, and schist and greenstone on the eastern side. Old quarries remain on the Rędziny side.

How to approach Bielec?

Bielec (871.3 m) has no marked path to the top. Grzbietowa Road passes it about 50 metres below the summit, so the last stretch is walked without markings. It is the fourth summit of the range, and nearby you will find Skalnik and the ruin of Bolczów Castle.

The wider picture of the village is on the page for attractions in Rędziny, and other ranges on the regional mountains page. Kamienna Góra and Lubawka lie nearby.
