Mountains in Jarkowice: Borowa Góra, Bielec, Średniak and Dzwonkówka, four peaks of the Lasocki Ridge in the northern Karkonosze.

How are the peaks of the Lasocki Ridge arranged?

All of them grow out of a side ridge that leaves Łysocina towards the east. First comes Borowa Góra (1056 m), joined by Łysocina to the west and by Bielec (931 m) to the east. Further on the ground falls towards Średniak (843 m), and in the fork of the Złotna river and the Biały Strumień stands Dzwonkówka. They are built of gneiss, mica schist and amphibolite, the rocks of the eastern cover of the Karkonosze granite.

Which trails run here?

Two hiking trails cross Borowa Góra, and the yellow one leads from Jarkowice up towards Łysocina. A yellow trail from Jarkowice also heads for Bielec, where the White Rocks lie on the summit and ridge. A blue trail to the Okraj Pass passes Dzwonkówka. Średniak is closed in from the north by a stream valley, and the slopes of both valleys are steep.

On the Karkonosze side, not far from Dzwonkówka, rises Śnieżka. All four peaks are wooded, free and well suited to solo outings.
